I’m writing this with the intention of keeping myself in check. It’s a way for me to keep track of all my purchases. And hopefully, the next time I think of buying anything, I’ll look at this list and say, “Girl, you already have something like that. You don’t need to buy that”. I’m trying to go on a low-buy, but I just can’t help myself.
First up on this list are my Colourpop haul, most of these I scored during their 40% off sale. I’m trying to up my eyeshadow game this year and got carried away by purchasing a lot of palettes. I have All I See is Magic, Double Entendre, You Had Me at Hello (my favorite!), Yes Please! and Golden State of Mind (which I got for free!). I’ve destashed the Yes Please palette because it’s way too warm for me. See other Colourpop palettes here.
I also got the following some lip products: iluvsarahii BUNDLE, Bumble Pencil, and 951 Pencil. I wanted to try their eyebrow pencils and got Precision Brow Pencil in Black N’ Brown and Brow Boss Pencil in Dark Brown. I wish I had gotten their brow pomade as well. For face, I got the No Filter Concealer in Light 20 - renamed as Light 18 for highlighting, No Filter Concealer in Medium 30 - renamed as Medium 28 which I use for concealing and the Super Shock Highlighter in Lunch Money. The highlighter I’m thinking of destashing because I already have Churro and Flexitarian and these take forever to pan.
To add to my growing eyeshadow collection, I also ordered the Focallure 18 Colors Eyeshadow Palette in Bright Lux. I ordered this from missrose.ph in Shopee. This item shipped from China and took almost a month to get here. My biggest palette to date is the Morphe 39A Dare to Create Palette which I ordered from Cheeky Posh. I haven’t even touched this because I’m so scared to ruin it.
I’ve also purchased my first bronzer: Physician’s Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Bronzer. I am in love with bronzers now, and I’m trying not to hoard anymore. It is so buttery (duh!) and smells like a vacation. I got the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Pressed Powder in 130 Buff Beige and Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Matte Foundation Stick in 120 Classic Ivory during the sale in Lazada. The powder is great for touch-ups, and I don’t like the stick foundation because it disappears and separates at the end of the day.
I ordered these The Ordinary items from The Makeup Atelier last December as well. I’ve already integrated both the Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2% and Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 in my skincare routine. I’ve yet to use the 100% Plant-Derived Squalane once I use up my Rose Hip Seed Oil.
From Watsons, I got some everyday skincare essentials: St. Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer and Biore Aqua Rich UV Watery Essence. From Human Heart Nature, I purchased and re-purchased the Nourishing Facial Wash. I alternate it with the Hydrating Creamy Wash. Also tried out the Hydrating Toner and the Hydrating Face Mist. I love hydrating products!
Moving on to tools, I’ve invested in some organization items, all ordered last December again. I got a brush holder from lipstickaddictph (Shopee), a rotating organizer from marycarmelinefijo (Shopee) and a 2 layer acrylic holder from the SM Store.
From Daiso, I made sure to restock (I mean, hoard) their Makeup Brush Cleaner and Puff Sponge Detergent. These are my HG tool cleansers. These cleaners are so hard to get a hold-off. I’ve been visiting Daiso weekly for three months before I got them. They’re never in stock at the same time, so I keep getting backups. Also lucked out on a Brush Cleaning Mat (no photo, but it looks like this) and a Brush Drying Stand during the aforementioned trips looking for the brush cleaners.
And since I decided to do my makeup every day, I decided to get more brushes. I got all of these from the SM Store: Real Techniques Powder Brush, Real Techniques Blush Brush, EcoTools Eye Enhancing Duo Set, Marionnaud 13 Concealer Brush and a Marionnaud 21 Eyeshadow Brush. From an FB destash group, I got some brand new Real Techniques Setting Brush and Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (not in photo).
I did some traveling this quarter as well so I purchased a cosmetics pouch from Keep It Together (KIT). As well as some small bottles for my skincare from Muji, Beabi, and KIT. I’m thinking of doing a separate blog post about this.
And last but not the least, these pretty brushes from Miniso that I reviewed here.
